Anyone else out there have a conflicting relationship with Amazon? Look, it’s understood that they can get you everything from groceries to Emmy award winning content at the silent click of a finger, but isn’t it slightly unnerving to find out just how much of a hold they have over our attention, our personal data, even government data when it comes to AWS?

With all the negative and positive discussion that surrounds Amazon in several areas, there is one area in particular that has been interesting to watch develop, and that’s their Luxury fashion roll-out, now officially dubbed Amazon: Luxury Stores. What is most intriguing here is their commitment to the project, tidying up loose ends, initiating projects to raise brand confidence and integrating innovative technology that will continue progressing the current online shopping experience into something fresh and different.

It’s already garnered the support of Oscar de la Renta, who is excited at the prospect of meeting customers in a space where they are already spending a lot of their time, purchasing butter and streaming The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
